holiday fun!

holiday survey! we thought it would be fun!
who doesn't love a survey? ;)

Favorite holiday cookie: gingersnap cookies

favorite winter meal: roasted sweet potatoes and squash and apple with caramelized onions and sage,thyme and rosemary.

favorite winter breakfast: oatmeal, dates, walnuts, crystallized ginger and brown sugar and cinnamon

favorite seasonal hot beverage:chai latte

favorite seasonal winter fruit: medjool dates. and persimmons!

favorite seasonal winter veggie: kambocha squash. and kale. we have prob. ate kambcoha every day for the past 1.5 months!! hehe. kambocha head? ;)

favorite seasonal dessert: mom's coconut tapioca pudding. must have this year!

favorite holiday memory: having lox and bagels at our aunts apartment xmas morning! and waking up excited to open presents and getting an American girl doll :) ohh and when we were 5 we were so scared of santa clause that mom had to tell us he wouldnt come becasue we are jewish. lol..couldnt sleep for days.lol.

looking forward to this holiday: enjoying baked goods and warm drinks :) baking!! spending time with each other. baby cakes cup cakes :) seeing the city all lit up! visiting the tree in the city, ice skating, and shopping! most of all being in NYC. so beautiful.
and the music! and lights!

your goal this season: have pancakes or waffles or french toast breakfast,

Although oatmeal we think is apropos for the season(duh always apropos) :)
